Sarah Ellison is a special correspondent at Vanity Fair and spent a decade at The Wall Street Journal in Paris, London and New York prior to joining the magazine. She started her journalism career in the Paris bureau of Newsweek. Her book, War at the Wall Street Journal, chronicles Rupert Murdoch's unsolicited takeover of the Dow Jones news empire, owned for a century by the fractious Bancroft family. Ellison's work has been recognized by the Mirror Awards, the Newswomen's Club of New York and the New York Press Club. She lives in Brooklyn with her family.
